Javier Villalobos is a multicultural entrepreneur President and co-founder of SMM.
At the age of 23, he identified and represented the next gold medal Olympic athlete in Beijing 2008, Maria Espinosa in Taekwondo, and former diving bronze medal in Olympic Games 2012, Laura Sanchez. At 26, he negotiated and signed with ESPN the first long term-international television contract for exhibition games in more than 21 countries. Such soccer games are held and promoted by his company with elite professional soccer Clubs from the Mexican League in the U.S. reaching millions of consumers every year.
Javier also serves as the founder and CEO of “Mentor Rocket”, a non-profit organization that helps young students from under-resourced communities, develop life needed skills to thrive.
Jorge Villalobos, SMM’ CEO and co-founder, is an international entrepreneur and a noted Latin American expert in Sports & Entertainment, talent management, and marketing.
He is responsible for making SMM a first high quality level, multicultural sports agency in the country.
SMM represents and consults athletes, soccer players, coaches and teams, having their rights for touring, licensing, sponsorships and media distribution.
Jorge has also developed the most powerful Hispanic soccer program in USA, SocioMX, successfully promoting over 100 professional club games sanctioned by FIFA, with a direct impact for over 1 millions fans on-site in cities like Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and Chicago, and millions more with a live broadcast in the USA and 20+ countries, via ESPN.
Jorge studied International Marketing at the University of Monterrey in Mexico and began his professional career in 2001 with successful business in the advertising industry with Villalobos&Asoc, Ad2GO a digital outdoor media agency, and JV Entertainment Group producing and promoting concerts & live shows with A list acts like Kiss, Motley Crue, Black Eyed Peas, etc.
He is actively involved in the community, with children as their principal focus. His commitment to battle school desertion, diabetes, and child obesity has driven him to organize free soccer clinics with professional athletes, youth soccer tournaments, as well as hiring international players and athletes as speakers to motivate and improve leadership skills; He has served in many advisory boards such as Dallas Sports Commission, Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce.
